In October 1996 I visited the Mt Conness region.
Coming down after climbing the right skyline in the photo to the left, Hazen and I walked through this heavenly valley.
The next day, Lee and I climbed the jagged North Peak.
Here is me the following weekend holding up boulder-strewn Tuolumne Meadows on a trip with Kate White.
In November, Lee, Hazen and I met some winds on Sargent Ridge, Mt Shasta.
Back in Alberta, my mother, brothers, and I did a lot of skiing. Here, a stream steams at -25 C near Dead Man's Flats in the Bow Valley corridor.
In January (1997) I skied some gorgeous days with friends from this camp near Emerald Lake, Sequoia NP.
